New Sims 2 Mods Released in Q3 2025

All of the new mods I found for The Sims 2 released in the third quarter (July, August, and September) of 2025!



This is an edit by me of iCad's Great Sky Project and Animated Wispy Clouds so they pass by more slowly. These are the neighborhood clouds I use.


This is a default replacement for the neighborhood terrain and roads by Evenfall in the style of The Sims 4. This also includes default replacements for all the terrain paints to match.

This is an updated version of the Period Hack (originally by smonaff) by me. This version also includes smonaff's 'hidden' update, Meduza's undead edit, and another edit by Meduza which I requested which makes the 'Period...' pie menu option only show in self-interactions rather than when clicking on any female sim as any active sim. My tuning makes periods last 23-24 hours but only occur every 7 days instead of every 4. I've also significantly reduced the effect on motives, the hygiene and comfort need will no longer suffer as severely with my version, but will still decay faster during a period than otherwise.


These are my tweaks and patches for piqiwi's  Parenthood, Prom + After School Activity, and Prom Plugins: Limo + Bring Friend Home from Prom. I've tweaked the after school activities: the names of the clubs have been revamped, every interest can now be built by at least one club, and each hobby can be built in one club. I’ve reduced the amount that interests are changed by attending a club, and attending a hobby-building club will increase enthusiasm by exactly one full point. I’ve also tweaked the motives; detention will now decrease fun, and I’ve removed many of the need buffs from the other clubs - now only social will be maxed, and fun will be increased by 50 points. I've also made a text compatibility patch for the School Bus Bring Friend Dialog mod and Parenthood and/or After School Activity + my tweaks. As well as this, Sims will return from prom with a little more energy when using the Prom Plugins: Limo + Bring Friend Home from Prom. Lastly, I've slightly increased the chance of getting a parenthood prompt to 40% instead of 30%, and slightly reduced the chance of taking advice from 88% to 85%. I’ve also disabled the personality changes, because I prefer to handle this manually once they get their character value trait and age up to YA or adult.


This is a set of addons by me for Pick N Mix's No Driving Without A Licence mod with tuning edits I've made for my personal taste and gameplay style, as well as some compatibility patches for other mods I use. I've made the mod a bit more convenient overall while still keeping it balanced in my opinion - the Driving Test Centre, Theory Exam Centre & Bookable Lessons will be available on Sundays, and the Theory Exam Centre will have longer opening hours, so your sims will have more opportunity to learn and take tests. I've also increased the amount of experience gained per lesson, and decreased the apprehensive and confident thresholds, so your sims will be ready to take a test sooner after fewer lessons. I've also tweaked the requirements and monetary values of Meduza's Scholarships, which includes scholarships for driving as well as others. As well as this, I've made patches for Allow Puppy, Kitten & Toddler Riders, More sensible “Can my friend come over, too?” and Read Books Autonomously.

These are default replacement eyes in a Maxis-faithful style by aSIMtypical. If you want to give your sims a graphics upgrade in this department without changing the overall look and feel, these are a great choice.


These are 3D eyelashes by ThatOneBritishSimmer that can be applied to your sims in the glasses category.


This is a higher quality default replacement by PForest for the floating stars that appear when a sim is slapped.


This mod by Sims for Semi combines DreadPirate's Woohoo Teens mod, and an edited version of MidgeTheTree's Alternate Pregnancy Controller Lite without the miscarriage part. This combo means that teens can have woohoo with no risk of pregnancy but for storytelling purposes, could be made pregnant with the SimBlender and successfully carry to term.


This mod by Siknoy336 makes it so that owned cars will use gas when driven and will need to be given more to be able to run, so this adds a functional gas pump which can be used on community lots to refill the gas for a fee.


This mod by Tea Addict significantly reduces the price of clothing when purchased from a community lot.


This mod by TvickieSims (and EpiSims) replaces the stack of clothes your sims will carry to the checkout when purchasing new clothes. The clothes pile will be in the sim's favorite color with the color traits mod.

This mod by Tea Addict adds a new custom interaction to lots of fun items in the game as well as many optional CC items. This interaction can be used to toggle 'pay to play' so when this is on, it will cost the sims money to use this object on a community lot, both owned (more profit for business owner) and unowned.


This is a functional food stand by Frog Family Sims / sgthebee which is an edit of Jacky93Sims' Sandwiches Food Stand. The options will be replaced with vegetarian alternatives such as Avocado, and Chickpea salad. The sandwiches themselves are retextured to be visibly veggie and the stand has a new green recolor too.


This is a functional espresso bar and food cart by Jacky93Sims which are 4t2 conversions of CC originally by DoctorSimCraft, and these creations were based on The Sims 1 Unleashed. The espresso bar can be used to buy and make espresso both on residential and community lots, and the pastry cart can be used to purchase Eclairs, Beignets and King Cakes to eat.


This is a functional food cart by Jacky93Sims which can be used to purchase a variety of pastries to eat.


These are two functional vending machines by Jacky93Sims - one for coffee and one for ice cream. The coffee machine has a huge variety of flavors to choose from, but the one option for purchasing ice cream will result in a randomized color being selected. Sims can use these on community lots to get themselves a quick drink or snack.

These are two edited food carts by CreeSims, they were originally created by Exnem and then Zena Dew Drop retextured them to make the text Simlish instead of English. CreeSims' edit simply makes these stands serve the existing Maxis Hot Dogs and Hamburgers rather than custom ones. These stands are like a grill so the food is free.


This mod by Heathen Simmer simply enables the 'browse' interaction on grocery objects.


This is a cute default replacement by Jacky93Sims for the grocery basket sims carry when purchasing groceries and carrying them to their fridge.


This is an amazing mod by Tea Addict which adds a new pie menu option to 'Go Out...'. You can choose a number of hours to send sims out for from 1 to 12 or have them go out indefinitely until you cancel the interaction. Doing this holds the sims off the lot with their needs frozen, and multiple sims can go at the same time. This is excellent for simulating the time they were at a community lot. This is a much more flexible alternative to the community time project because you can use it only when you see fit, for example a sim may have gone to a community lot to play out their work day and you intend for them to 'go to work' normally like in the carpool upon returning to simulate that time away. So, in that situation you would not want the sim to be held off the lot like you probably would if they were visiting a community lot to go shopping or something. Another benefit to using this method instead of the community time project is that multiple sims / groups of sims can be out at the same time, so you no longer have to wait for one sim / group to return before any other sim can go to a community lot - they can be off lot at the same time for different amounts of time.

This mod by Big Woe is an edit of Cyjon's Commercial Buffets mod. With this, buffet tables will behave differently depending on lot type; residential, owned community lot, unowned community lot, and hotels. For example, on an unowned community lot the food will be served by default but will cost money to take a plate. On non-residential lots, you can now allow and disallow which meals are available, and there is a new 'clear spent plates' interaction which will immediately remove all empty plates on the lot so nobody has to worry about cleaning up. On residential lots, you can individually select which meals to serve and cleanup, and the cleanup interaction will inform you how many plates are remaining. Buffet food can also be stored as leftovers on residential lots.


This mod by WolfTest improves playing soccer. There are two components to this mod, they can be used together or separately. Firstly, the fun need restriction has been removed so sims with extremely low fun will still be able to play to increase their fun rather than complaining about how little fun they're having and refusing to. They also won't stop playing just because their fun need is full. Secondly, this significantly reduces the effect on needs from playing soccer - their needs will drain much less quickly and so be able to play for much longer.


This is a cartoony style default replacement for the tombstones and urns by mrplumbob95. It also optionally default replaces the two cheat objects - Rodney’s Death Creator and Tombstone of Life And Death.


This is a pack of items and a gameplay system by simmymom. The idea here is that you play out an active scout club with children, teens, and a scout master. The sims in the club can increase in rank once they meet the requirements - the requirements are detailed in the object descriptions and in an optional tracking spreadsheet. Some of the rank requirements are to earn badges. This set contains an empty bulletin board and badge images you can place on the board once your sim earns them by doing the activity/task described in the description. Once a sim has earned all 3 badges for a rank as well as 3 additional requirements such as a hobby enthusiasm level, they can 'earn' a certificate.

This mod was shared by Kayleigh83 which Tvickiesims made for her and it allows children to use the sewing table so they don't have to be teenagers before they can start sewing.


This is a significant update to the Simple Laundry mod by Lamare. Now, washers, dryers, and hampers can go underneath counters just like dishwashers. There's also the addition of indoor drying racks. Children can now also do the laundry as well as many other small improvements and bug fixes.


This is an edit by Heathen Simmer of the Functional Microscope by Katy76/nanashi. This edit adds science hobby enthusiasm gain. The idea here is also that if a Sim has enough hobby enthusiasm in Science or their OTH is Science, the pie menu changes to “Study Specimens”. Sciencey Sims should also be able to look through the microscope autonomously.


This mod by Big Woe significantly improves the gardening experience. The Tend, Harvest, Water, and Spray interactions have had speed boosts, now having no badge will be as fast as having the silver badge in the vanilla game, and each badge level will allow for even faster gardening. Because of these speed boosts, the exploit has been fixed so you can no longer cancel the interaction to perform it at gold-level speed regardless of badge level. There's also several more optional addons. For example, raking speed will be based on cleaning skill and gain skill faster. Another new feature is that plants may be tended autonomously. You can also sell surplus compost and with Lamare's Planting Overhaul mod, create bags of compost for later use using your own compost!


This is two new OMSPs by Gummi that can be placed to spawn decorative butterflies or fireflies.

This mod by Gummi simply makes scattered autumn leaves buyable so you can rake leaf piles whenever and wherever you want.


This mod by Lenna9 adds a new interaction on dead flowers to replant them. No longer do they have to dispose of them and then you buy a new one from the buy mode catalog - the sims can handle this themselves in this one interaction! They will dispose of the dead flowers and then purchase new ones which will appear in its place.


This mod by Lamare makes some existing maxis outfits be valid uniforms for NPCs where an age group wouldn't have otherwise had one. So, now there will be an outfit elders can use for a maid, gardener, and bartender and there will be an outfit for adult repairmen too.


This mod by Heathen Simmer makes sims with the Unlucky or Absent Minded trait have a higher chance of being attacked by bees while hunting for bugs - 10% instead of the usual 5%.


These mods by Freezer Bunny replace some of the sounds in game. One of which is some of the UI clicking sounds like for selecting and cancelling an interaction, which is somewhat inspired by The Sims 3 and 4. The other is to replace the burglar sound with a jump scare noise from Project Zomboid.


This is an edit by Renegade simmer (enkisstories) of Simwardrobe's Checkbook which adds support for Color Traits so now the pen sims use to write cheques will be in the sims' favorite color.

This mod by Lenna9 adds a new option in the influence menu you can use to persuade other sims such as those not in your household to get the cowplant's cake...and therefore meet their demise.


This is a traits mod by Heathen Simmer mostly for the Animal Lover Trait. It affects the chance of being sprayed by a skunk so Animal Lovers have a 60% chance of successfully petting them without being sprayed, lucky sims have a 15% chance of success, and unlucky and loser sims only have a 3% of success. The chance of success for other sims is 10% which is unchanged. Also, Animal Lovers will have a lower STR and LTR requirement for adopting wolves, can more easily become Pack and Master with wolves, and will be considered when the game decides whether to send wolves to your lot.


This is an edit by pastel-skulls-sims of Epi's Correlated Werewolves but the idea with this is that it also incorporates Crisps & Kerosene's Pointy Teeth.


This mod by Letisiya makes werewolves use the same walking animation as bigfoot when in werewolf form.


This mod by Big Woe prevents vampires' needs decaying so quickly during the day as long as they're indoors or in rainy weather.


This is a default replacement for the Servos by 1nsnlgo1nsn. This makes them look much more like sims and much less cartoony. They will have metallic skin and glowing blue eyes, and wear clothing with an apron.

This mod by LowMotivesWarning makes the hula zombies that appear when an elder sim dies of old age in gold or platinum aspiration look like actual zombies.


This is a custom career by |usagi but it doesn't function much like a career. The idea is that it simulates being on government support / benefits - there is only one working day in the week, Wednesday and it's just for one hour 9-10am. A taxi will come for your sims and there's no uniform or chance cards, so you can imagine they're just being taken to collect their weekly allowance from the government office. There's 3 flavors of the mod: $350, $563 or $600 per week. Every level in the career is the same but there are 'requirements' for each level so your sim doesn't get 'promoted' every time. This may replace the need for the more complex Social Welfare mod.


This mod by Heathen Simmer allows for higher level jobs to be available in the newspaper not just the computer. I believe this mod also includes Lenna9's QuitJobMemoryFix which also includes Simler90's Find Pet Job For Fix for compatibility reasons.


This mod by Heathen Simmer fixes Bigfoot's chance of stealing an object from work since it used to be 100% of the time but is now 30%, and applies this same chance to sims with the kleptomaniac trait.


This is a new OMSP-type object by EpiSims which can be used to place showers onto, and then be placed over bathtubs to make custom bath-shower combos in which both the shower and bath will be fully usable.

This is a traits mod by Heathen Simmer with various things mostly for the Athletic Trait. Firstly, Toddlers with the athletic trait can escape from their crib even if they haven't learned to walk yet. Next, sims with the Athletic trait may also use the exercise bike autonomously and they will have lesser motive drain and learn the body skill faster. Athletic Sims or sims with the Fitness hobby will be able to play basketball autonomously, lose less energy and hygiene from doing so, and gain more fun and faster body skill too. This mod also affects Yoga for Athletic and Clumsy sims. Clumsy sims have a high chance of falling if their body skill is 5 or less, whereas Athletic sims never fall. Athletic sims are also able to do Yoga regardless of their body skill level and they may do Yoga autonomously. In fact, Athletic sims and sims into the Fitness Hobby should now use all exercise equipment autonomously. It also increases the body skill gain rate for Athletic children when playing on the large playground climbing frame/lookout object. Lastly, it incorporates the Television Placement mod to hopefully allow Sims to work out using the television easier.


This is a set of toddler crib-bed combos by Lamare that can be transformed between states - transform the crib into a bed and vice versa! Toddlers can use the bed form without restriction but for gameplay immersion you may decide to only turn the crib into a bed once the toddler has either learned to walk or reached a certain age. This prevents the need for having separate toddler beds for which you would have to sell/store the crib and purchase a bed. There's lots to choose from including two that look like the Maxis cribs as well as other IKEA-inspired ones, and additional ones here, here, and here. These toddler beds are well-implemented and will not cause errors like some of the toddler beds out there, speaking of which Lamare has also fixed some existing toddler beds from other creators which you may be interested in if you'd still prefer to keep cribs and beds as separate objects.


These are two functional food objects by Jacky93Sims, available from buy mode on residential lots. There is a tray of ice creams, perfect for pulling out for a party. There's also a bag of palmiers (aka Elephant Ear Cookies), perfect for selling in an OFB owned business so your sim can buy a little snack.

This is a functional small appliance by AtomTanned - a waffle maker that will produce a single portion of heart shaped waffles of various flavors. It is converted from The Sims 4 Home Chef Hustle Stuff Pack and uses the same recipes as all of the waffles have been converted too.


This mod by Lamare attempts to enable the 'Call To Meal' interaction on custom foods, particularly those with an unusual serving dish which likely didn't have the interaction available previously.


This mod by Big Woe makes sims eat faster under certain conditions - the likelihood of doing so increases the hungrier a Sim is, less neat the Sim is, and if there is any other interaction queued up. So now even neat sims can use the fast animation if they are hungry and are trying to get to something else. I demonstrated this incorrectly in the video - it actually only applies to foods eaten by hand such as sandwiches, burgers, snacks, etc., not meals eaten with a fork.


This mod by Lamare is an edit and combination of two old mods by MogHughson: Autonomous Put Away Leftovers and Simply Leftovers (adds the option to store leftovers as single plates rather than a group serving). Lamare's version fixes some bugs, allows the put away leftovers option on custom foods with unusual plates, and adds more condition checks. Sims will no longer autonomously put away leftovers if there’s a party, hungry non-sleeping household members or greeted visitors, or a lunch lady aka cafeteria worker on the lot.


These are new free items by Fractured Moonlight that look like natural things - flowers, leaves, dirt, etc. They function as a natural, discrete outdoor litter box for cats and they'll never need to be cleaned. They also function as a marker for dogs so with one of these on the lot, this is where they will choose to pee rather than in the middle of the road or something.

This mod by Lamare simply allows Young Adults / University Residents to get married so they no longer have to wait until adulthood.


This is a new set of OMSPs by Gummi (and EpiSims) that will rotate objects to varying degrees - from 5° to 40° for ground objects and from 1° to 9° for wall objects. This allows you to create more natural not-so-perfect looking environments.


These are modernized default replacements for the hotel room, dorm room, and apartment doors by More Popcorn. They require her default replacement for the Justa Door, and it's worth checking out her windowed addons for it too.


This mod by CreeSims unlocks 12 hidden wall coatings from Nightlife.


This mod by CreeSims unlocks some hidden recolors for basegame objects. There is a grey recolor for the Shiny Things grill, the park bench in chestnut and redwood, floral fabric for the Zecutime sofa & loveseat, and a black Nofowle Armchair.


This mod by 12Raben fixes the Bay Window that came with Open for Business in Neighborhood view so it has a visible imposter rather than appearing as a hole in the wall.

This is a default replacement for the small hotel reception desk by More Popcorn - it is dependent on her Simple Counter Solution and blends into it, and the textures are pulled from the Nooks & Niches Master file.


This is simply a default replacement for the bathtub that came with the Kitchen & Bath Stuff Pack by WoftTest which just simply removes the decorative rubber duck.


This is a default replacement for the microphone by AtomTanned. The mic itself and the stand are converted from The Sims 4 Business & Hobbies Expansion Pack, and the speaker is replaced with a custom amplifier from Sims 4 CC by Ravasheen. It comes in lots of recolors too. There's also a standalone version if you'd prefer to not replace the original.


This is a default replacement for the Bohemian Corbell by PForest. It makes various edits and you can choose which ones you want. It reduces the polycount, retextures it as well as removing the shine from the matching window and also optionally reduces the price, removes the “view” interaction and sets the keep buying flag to true, so you can place one corbell after another without going back to catalogue every time, it also moves it to the Architecture section.


This is a default replacement for the Shrine that came with Bon Voyage by Epi Sims - it simply removes the fence and coins to make it look less touristy.


This mod by LowMotivesWarning unhides lots of hidden Maxis items in CAS: various hats, the monocle, wrinkle overlays, and GameSpy & GameSpot Outfits.

This mod by LowMotivesWarning unhides the thick beard in black, as it was previously only selectable for the other hair colors and could only be accessed in black either by selecting it from another color first then changing to black, or using debug mode. Optionally, you can also make this full beard townified so townies can spawn with it, and additionally optionally townify the Santa & Father Time beards for Elder townies.


This is a project by Leto Mills which default replaces every single mesh for Adult Male clothing. It makes subtle fixes and improvements, as well as giving them all a pregnancy morph. There's also optional unhiders here too. This quarter, PForest has also released a replacement for the AL ‘Surfer’ outfit with minor tweaks and a pregnancy morph, but as this is included in Leto's work with similar changes, you'll have to choose between them.


This is a mesh fix for the female Orderly and Mechanic work outfits for females by PForest - it fixes some strange creasing on the neck and potentially makes other subtle improvements too. It also improves the texture of these outfits for both male and females - the color is now much nicer and more solid rather than such a grainy texture with strange crotch shadowing.


This is a texture replacement for the Glamor Life Puffy Dress for Teen females by Nosferatu. It removes the painted-on necklace and improves the texture and colors - the black color will be much less grainy/blurry and the white texture will be whiter.


This is a mesh and/or texture replacement for the Seasons Parka outerwear with Snow Boots by por see gab lurv / xwhitepolar. It makes the boots look more weather-appropriate with much thicker soles so they look more like actual snow boots. It can also optionally replace the textures of the outfit.

These are two precipitation tuning options for Heathen Simmer - one for a Tropical Climate and one for a Temperate Coastal Climate. These can easily be used as templates to make your own tuning - such as significantly reducing rain and disabling snow for a desert climate like Strangetown.


This is an awesome must-have tool by lingeringwillx which creates automatic backups of your neighborhoods so you don't have to worry about losing them or not being able to revert back. It is a launcher that you will use to start your game and will first create a backup if one is due as per your settings, and you can even set it to launch RPC so you don't have to choose between launchers - this does it all! You can decide how often you want a backup to be created upon launch, how many backups to keep, which neighborhoods to backup, and where to store your backups.


This is a handy tool by CroconawSims which can be used to handle the stealth hoods in a number of ways and also automatically install clean versions of all the Maxis Neighborhoods. Stealth hoods are the hidden hoods that come with expansion packs and are where the bin families and townies come from such as the Apartment Social Group townies. This can install cleaned versions of these which will fix any issues. However, we often don't want these in every single hood, so this gives you an option to remove/limit them. It can install with empty Stealth hoods which replaces the hobbies and magic stealth hoods with empty versions by Jawusa (since these have an actual visitable neighborhood - the secret hobby lots and witch castles), deletes the rest of the stealth hoods (which aren't actually visitable), and installs the stealth hood families put into sub hoods by meetme2theriver, so you can add only those you want such as adding the Ottomas family to Riverblossom Hills or perhaps the Social Group townies to Belladonna Cove, etc. Alternatively, you can also choose to leave the Stealth hoods untouched which you may want if you've already followed the process demonstrated by Creusa Sims or PleasantSims. It will then install clean neighborhoods: Clean Pleasantview without Bella Goth, Fixed Maxis Strangetown, Clean Veronaville with fixed scripted events, Clean Riverblossom Hills With Townies and NPCs, Clean Desiderata Valley With Townies and NPCs, Clean Belladonna Cove with townies and NPCs, fixed Maxis Universities (Reupload), Clean Downtown (Alternative Version), and Clean Bluewater Village With All Townies And NPCs. However, if you want to play without townies, or with genetic infant faces, or with dominant & recessive premade genes or genetically correct premade sims, or with additional families, or with restored resurrectable ancestors, or with fixed zodiac signs, etc. then there may be a better alternative out there for you. So, make sure you research various clean templates available for the neighborhood you're about to start playing and choose the right one for you, only use these as a baseline.

The Skin Adjuster Program by HandOnTheMouse has had a new V3 version. This version is intended for use with SimPe rather than Body Shop, so you extract the textures from SimPe instead and they will be in png format. This method results in lossless quality so is a big improvement over V2. This tool allows you to easily make color edits to existing skintones or make your own skinblends by combining two existing skintones together!


This is a huge pack of approximately 90 mods by Lenna9. There's no way I can explain them all here, and Lenna describes each of them excellently on the mod page. The majority of these fix bugs, so you'll want the vast majority of them! My notable favorites are the Dog Washing Fix, the Hobby Chance Cards Fixes, and the Santa Fix, but there are so many more! The Dog Washing Fix makes routing to wash dogs in a bathtub much more successful, so there'll be much fewer routing fails. The Hobby Chance Card Fixes fixes the hobby chance cards for every career, so now what the text says will actually be the reward/penalty the sim receives rather than often being something completely different. The Santa Fixes fixes the completely broken Santa Klaus, no longer will he just laugh maniacally and constantly pee in the toilet. His other intended possible interactions are now restored and will work correctly: hug friendly give a friendly hug to a random Sim on the lot, tickle a toddler, and talk to a toddler - so he has a chance of doing some of those instead of only ever 'ho ho ho' and using the toilet.


This is a small pack of mods by LowMotivesWarning. It has a workaround for a glitch that can make certain tan skin (S2) Bon Voyage NPCs show the lightest skintone (S1) on their bodies, mismatching their heads and causing a neck seam. You can rename 'mystery sim' to 'unknown sim'. There is a mod to stop the Bigfoot hair from being given to human sims at random, but lets Bigfoot preserve it when Changing Appearance. There's a mod that hides the 'change appearance' interaction from mirrors (except for pets and toddlers) so that sims are incentivized to get a makeover to change their appearance, making the OFB makeover station much more useful and a salon business much more viable. There is Recategorized NPC stuff meant to be used with Phaenoh's Great Clothing Migration V2. The Santa Portrait Fix is a replacement for Santa Klaus portrait so he looks more like himself and not like Therapist in disguise. There's an unhider for the Matchmaker NPC outfit. The deadlier flies mod increases the chance of death by flies occurring - in an unmodded game, sims have a 2% probability of dying by flies after 10 fly spots are present on the lot, this sets it to a 25% after 5 spots. Lastly, the More Plantsims mod makes it take 10 sprays instead of 15 to have a 10% chance of being turned. More mini mods may be added to this page in the future.

These are a few mods by Nopke to do with weeds and shrubs. Firstly, the Sensible weed growth mod improves the logic around weeds growing. With this, weeds can't spawn outside if it's winter, or the temperature is -30 or lower, or the weeds would be covered with snow. However, weeds can spawn new weeds more successfully. There is an addon for this mod that introduces gradual growth states for weeds, so there will be fewer thistles when the patch first appears but more will grow overtime so older weeds will be denser in appearance. The Sensible Shrub Growth mod is a similar idea to the weeds one, so it makes sense to use them together but you don't have to. With this, a shrub doesn't grow or spawn weeds if the same conditions are met in which the weed growth is prevented. Furthermore, a trimmed shrub can no longer spawn weeds but an overgrown shrub spawns weeds more successfully. Lastly, an overgrown shrub no longer keeps growing after 10 days since the longer a shrub grows, the more time it takes to trim it. In an unmodded game, shrub growth was virtually unlimited so tidying up a neglected garden could take an insanely long amount of time, now it will not.


These are two mods by Nopke which significantly improves the behavior around bathing babies and toddlers. The Baby/toddler bathing autonomy fixes mod fixes various issues with baby/toddler bathing autonomy and also restricts player actions to some extent. With this mod a Sim can no longer autonomously try to bathe a baby/toddler who is being carried by someone else, who has a dirty diaper or a hygiene need above -20, who doesn't belong to their household and isn't their relative (unless the sim is an on-duty nanny or butler), or do so in an apartment of someone that Sim barely knows. Also, they can no longer autonomously initiate social interactions with a toddler/baby being bathed. There is a dirty diaper lock version which completely disables the interaction of bathing a baby/toddler with a dirty diaper, but instead of this version I'd recommend using the Bathing Changes Diaper mod alongside the regular version instead.

The Bathing by nanny fixes mod fixes several issues with nanny and butler behaviors. With this mod, a nanny, a butler, or an apartment neighbor watching the kids who wants to bathe babies/toddlers as part of their caring duties no longer ignores the baby/toddler they are carrying, chooses first the baby/toddler with the lowest hygiene level, can no longer choose a baby/toddler with a dirty diaper, can no longer choose a bathtub/sink that is in an inaccessible room, no longer ignores some tub-shower combos if there's a bathtub on the lot, and with closest object version only; chooses the closest available bathtub/sink based on its distance from the baby/toddler.

This mod by Nopke fixes various problems with Mrs. CrumpleBottom. With this, Mrs. CrumpleBottom can once again recognize when Sims perform a romantic interaction and smack them with her purse, as this feature stopped working in Apartment Life and Mansion & Garden Stuff. However, she can no longer predict when Sims are about to perform a romantic interaction, so she'll no longer smack sims just on their way to romantically interact. If a Sim rejects a romantic interaction, she can now only smack the Sim who initiated it, not the one who rejected it. If Mrs. CrumpleBottom decides to smack a Sim, that Sim's interaction queue is no longer cleared. The smacking interaction is now properly categorized as mean regardless of latest EP. If Sims are on a date or outing and Mrs. CrumpleBottom smacks one of them, the date/outing score decreases drastically, as intended. Also, she can no longer lecture a Sim for being naked or wearing underwear or swimwear if that Sim is in a different room or if that Sim is performing an interaction. Lastly, she can now recognize up to 8 selectable Sims that she has smacked with her purse – so she can avoid smacking them again until she or your Sims leave the lot they are on.


This mod by Nopke fixes a bug where certain interactions can temporarily make a fat Sim appear not fat or partly fat (such as a gap between the top and bottom halves of the body), depending on what they are wearing.


This is a pack of mod by Lenna9 which allows you to use more characters for Sim/Pet Names, Titles, Neighborhood Names, Craftable Descriptions, and Novel Descriptions.


This mod by Lenna9 prevents Sims from gaining body skill and/or losing weight while swimming, whether in the pool or the ocean.

These are functional 'portals' by Sun & Moon's Star Factory. These require a very long list of other mods within the Sun & Moon ecosystem. Sims can use these to disappear off the lot for a while and depending which portal they entered, may return with certain items. For example, if they go to the River Biome they may fish or gather reeds or clay whereas if they go to the Enchanted Forest Pathway they can gather items that are mostly used in tea crafting, potion crafting, medicine making, and sources of more rare or magical and fantastical items. These are a great addition to a Medieval Fantasy hood.

This is a traits mod by Heathen Simmer mainly for the Adventurous Trait. With this, Adventurous Sims or Sims who have a high enough interest in Travel are the only ones who can roll Vacation wants. But there is also logic on what type of vacation want they will roll!

The only sims who will want to go on a Far East Vacation are Sims with the Disciplined or Proper Traits, Sims with a high enough Interest in Culture and a high enough Interest in either Sci-Fi, Health, or Sports, and Sims with a high enough hobby enthusiasm (or OTH) in Fitness or Arts.

The only sims who will want to go on an Island Vacation are Sims who are not vampires, Sims with the Loves to Swim, Loves the Heat or the Evil traits (for the Voodoo Doll), Sims with a high enough Interest in Entertainment and a high enough Interest in either Food, Paranormal, or Sports, and Sims with a high enough Hobby Enthusiasm (or OTH) in Music, Games, or Sports.

The only sims who will want to go on a Mountain Vacation are Sims with the Loves the Outdoors, Brave, Supernatural Fan, Frugal, or the Eco-Friendly traits, Sims with a high enough Interest in Paranormal, Animals, Environment, or Weather, and Sims with a high enough Hobby Enthusiasm (or One True Hobby) in Nature.

This mod by Heathen Simmer makes the "show off" interaction satisfy the "play with [sim]" want since the interaction is under the play pie menu.


This is a traits mod by Heathen Simmer for the Clumsy Trait. Sims with the clumsy trait will now have a higher chance of falling when skating or roller blading. If a Sim is not Clumsy, it checks for body skill to determine if Sims will fall down.

Depending on the version of this extra mod, the careers added in University (Artist, Natural Science, Paranormal, and Show Business) can be either locked from appearing in newspapers/computers unless a degree is acquired under the vanilla restrictions, or locked from appearing in newspapers/computers anytime an applicable degree, or unrestricted and thus be shown on a newspaper/computer even if a Sim doesn't have a degree.

This mod by LowMotivesWarning reduces the amount of Social Group Townies from 50 (10 of each group) to 5 (one of each). This is a great option for reducing the amount of sims in your neighborhood but still having a few around as special characters.


This mod by Lamare fixes a bug with custom bins which makes them always look full after use even when a sim empties them, they will now properly have their empty state when a sim takes the trash out.


This is a big addon to Lamare's Supplies Mod with many additional items. They are mostly edited decorative objects from other creators, and are mostly missing empty states, fancy interactions and descriptions, unlike the items in the original mod. However, they will technically behave the same way. There are two new objects by Platinum Aspiration which have a proper empty state too.
